MUSICAL THEATRE ages 8-13
60 minute class

Students will work on vocal technique, character study, choreography and scene development. They will have the chance to participate in ensemble song and dance numbers, solo musical theatre pieces and scenes from modern plays. During the second semester students will participate in putting together the end of year production and learn about all aspects of theatre including staging, costumes and props.
 

JUNIOR DRAMA ages 8-13
60 minute class

Students will study character development, vocal work, improvisation, mime, concentration and focus through a variety of fun drama games and exercises. Students will create and write their own scenes as well as work on scenes from modern plays. During the second semester students will participate in putting together the end of year production and learn about all aspects of theatre including staging, costumes and props.

 
SENIOR DRAMA ages 12-16
90 minute class

Advanced drama students will take part in focus, sensory, advanced character development, vocal work and scene study. Students will have the opportunity to work on contemporary and classical texts as well as scenes from film and television. During the second semester students will participate in putting together the end of year production and learn about all aspects of theatre including staging,costumes and props.
