Band Fees: the Yearly fee is $550.00 non-refundable (once a member is enrolled
they are required to continue for the year) Please talk to Karen if you would
like to pay in installments.
Due to the success of our band program for teens we are expanding it this year. The bands will have opportunities to play at cafes, street festivals and of course our recitals.
A variety of music will be played including Rock, Blues and Progressive Rock. We will always try to keep the music and words positive. The band members will play at various levels of skill. If your teen is interested in playing, Doug will put her/him into a band of similar ability.
Getting involved with a band helps students learn team work and accountability. It builds life skills. It also motivates practicing, being creative and learning how to improvise. Teens feel a sense of accomplishment. Parents are happy that they have something positive to put their energies into.
