Example Tour Itinerary to be tailored to each group.

Days 1 to 4:

Day 1 - Co-ordinate your flight to arrive at the Florence Airport by 1:30 pm. We will pick you up at 2 pm for the lovely drive to our Villa/Country house. The drive will be in an air-conditioned vehicle and takes approx. 1 ½ hours. Upon arrival you will have several hours to settle in and freshen up after which there will be a welcome dinner, local wine and orientation. Meet your fellow travelers and learn about the wonderful sights you will see. Later in the evening we will be driving the short distance to San Gimignano , exploring the town and breathing in the beauty

Day 2 - A typical Italian breakfast will be available to help yourself before 9 am. We will leave for our day trip at 10 am. Siena is 1 ¼ hours away and awaits us with many wonderful sights. We will walk to the church (Duomo) and see the surrounding area sights until lunch. Lunch will be a gourmet treat at a medieval restaurant. Cost is approx 20Euros. After lunch we will go on a walking tour admiring the architecture and learning about the history of Siena. Of course you may enjoy free time whenever you prefer. At 6:30 pm we will meet at the Compo (town square) for an impromptu dinner with wine, cheese, bread and Italian sliced meats and music!

Day 3 – breakfast before 9 am , We leave at 10 am for an adventure in the Chianti countryside. We will visit stunning Colle di Val d'Elsa and then proceed to beautiful Monterrigione for lunch at Il Pozzo Restauranti (approx 30 Eros) After lunch we will continue through the countryside to Badea a Passignano where Villa Antonori provides wonderful wine tastings in a fantastic setting. ( approx. 3 euros a taste). We will then continue down the quiet road to Greve where there is a flea market with many wonderful linens and gift ideas at great prices. Once we tire ourselves we will drive through the countryside to Brolio in Chianti, a castle still owned by one of the ancient families of Tuscany. Near by is a fabulous restaurant overlooking the rolling hills and castle. (cost approx. 40+ Euros)

Day 4 – breakfast as usual, the morning is free to sleep in or read or enjoy each others company. At 1 pm we will leave for our day in Florence. We will walk a considerable amount today going to the Academia, Uffizi and any other special interests you may have. Lunch will be on your own. We can recommend many wonderful restaurants in Florence. For dinner we have an especially wonderful restaurant in mind. You will love the food, the atmosphere and to be pampered by the descendants of the Grand Dukes of Tuscany who will explain each menu item with such passion! A meal to remember always. (cost approx 50 + Euros)

Days 5 to 8
